JAL Begins Tokyo Haneda-JFK Flights

DSC_2944Japan Airlines announced the launch of new daily service between Tokyo Haneda and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. The new route will complement the carrier’s daily flights between Tokyo Narita and JFK.

Flights will depart Tokyo at 10:40 a.m. and arrive in New York at 10:35 a.m. Flights from New York to Tokyo are scheduled to depart at 1:10 p.m. and arrive at 4:25 p.m. the next day.

JAL will operate the service using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, equipped with eight suites in first class, 39 suites in business class, 40 seats in premium economy, and 147 seats in economy. First-class seats are 33” wide and have a bed length of 78.5”.

Japan Airlines will operate the route as part of its joint business venture with its fellow oneworld alliance member American Airlines.
