Amtrak to Serve Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee on Acela Routes

Amtrak announced on Wednesday that it is now serving Dunkin’ Donuts coffee onboard its Acela trains through the Northeast Corridor.
Amtrak will brew both Dunkin’ Donuts Original Blend and Dunkin’ Decaf hot coffee using the same equipment the coffee chain uses in its stores. The coffee will be available in first class and Café Acela.
The coffee will be served in co-branded Amtrak and Dunkin’ cups.
Amtrak’s high-speed Acela service connects Boston with Washington, D.C. making 14 intermediate stops including New York and Philadelphia. Acela trains attain 150 mph (240 km/h) on portions of the route and are the fastest trains in the United States.
