DSC_0595Good Saturday morning. Here’s what you are waking up to this weekend.

We hope you enjoyed Thursday’s record high temperatures – the high in Central Park in New York City was 61° F (16° C) – because spring is over and winter is back with a vengeance.

Friday’s snow was just a tease. A weekend storm system may bring snow and wintry conditions as far south as Tennessee and the Carolinas. This will be followed by a nor’easter that will bring heavy snow and strong winds to much of the Northeast starting Monday night.

Enjoy the weekend while you can. While it will be shockingly cold, most of the country will see sun and little if any precipitations. Sunday will be better suited for outdoor activities thanks to the gusty winds expected Saturday.
