Sun Country Airlines announced that it plans to launch in August new seasonal service from Minneapolis to both Santa Rosa, California and Austin, Texas.

The carrier will offer once-weekly round-trip flights between August 24 and December 3 from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to both Charles M. Schultz-Sonoma County Airport, and to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The carrier will operate flights from Minneapolis on Thursdays, and return flights on Sundays.

Sun Country Airlines is headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota, just outside of Minneapolis. The carrier was founded in 1982, and with the addition of Santa Rosa and Austin, the airline will offer service to 40 international and domestic locations.
