JW Marriott Phu Quoc Opens in Vietnam

Marriott International announced the opening of a new JW Marriott hotel on Phu Quoc, the largest of Vietnam’s islands. The JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Emerald Bay is the second of the brand’s properties in the country.

The hotel has 244 guestrooms, suites, and villas. It also has a private beach and three outdoor pools.

The property has five restaurants and bars, including Tempus Fugit, which offers Vietnamese cuisine; French and Co, which has pastries and desserts; Red Rum, which features local seafood dishes; and Department of Chemistry, which offers signature cocktails. In addition, Pink Pearl, a Cantonese restaurant, is scheduled to open this spring.

The new JW has a spa which features eight treatment rooms, as well as a steam rooms and saunas. The hotel also offers 11,840 square feet (1,100 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a 7,696-square-foot (715-square-meter) ballroom.
