Hilton Linzhi Resort Opens in Tibet

DSC_0782Hilton Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of a new property in China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. The Hilton Linzhi Resort is situated on 800 acres (323 hectares) within the historic King of Gongbo site.

The resort has a total of 220 guestrooms and suites, each with a 42” LCD TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. In addition, as the hotel sits at an elevation of 3,000 meters, between the Himalayas and the Yarlung Zangbo River, each room comes equipped with oxygen supply equipment for guests who need help adjusting to the altitude.

The property has a 24-hour fitness center, as well as a spa and kid’s club. Guests can also indulge in billiards, chess, cinema, and karaoke, and the resort offers offers a nine-hole golf course.

The hotel offer 5,694 square feet (529 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a 2,486-square-foot (231-square-meter) ballroom and four boardrooms.

Guests can choose from four dining options, including Rega, an all-day restaurant featuring Western and Asian dishes; Feast Chinese Restaurant, which offers seasonal Chinese menus; the Address, a rooftop bar; and Vertical, the property’s lobby lounge which offers tea service.
