Hawaiian to Begin Flights to West Maui

Hawaiian Airlines announced the launch of new service to Kapalua Airport in West Maui. The carrier will offer two daily flights from Honolulu and once daily service from Kahului.

The new routes will be operated by Empire Airlines, a passenger and cargo carrier based in Hayden, Idaho.

Flights from Honolulu will depart at 12:06 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and will arrive at Kapalua Airport at 12:47 p.m. and 3:11 p.m., respectively. Flights from Kapalua to Honolulu are scheduled to depart at 10:45 a.m. and 1:13 p.m., arriving in Honolulu at 11:26 a.m. 1:54 p.m.

Flights from Kahului Airport will depart at 9:55 a.m. and arrive at Kapalua at 10:17 a.m. Return flights will depart at 3:40 p.m. and arrive at 4:02 p.m.

The flights will be operated using ATR-42 turboprop aircraft equipped with 48 seats.
