IMG_5207Hailo, a ride-hailing app based in London, is rebranding following the company’s merger last summer with mytaxi.

The Hailo service and app, which was started by former London taxi drivers, will continue to function until the end of May but current customers are being urged to migrate to the mytaxi app.

“You won’t need to login, register, add a card or do any of that boring stuff,” the company said in an e-mail to customers Wednesday.

Last July, Hailo sold a majority stake in the company to Daimler while announcing plans to merge with Daimler’s taxi app, mytaxi.

The mytaxi app will give users access to fully licensed and insured taxi cabs in over 50 European cities.
