Delta Air Lines announced it is piloting a new boarding process at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Those boarding at one of the carrier’s five gates at B Concourse of the airport will find themselves doing so in four parallel lanes, which Delta says will keep passengers out of the walkway and provide a separate queuing area for premium passengers and those who need special assistance.

The airline said that it plans to roll out the new process at additional airports once it gets sufficient passenger feedback.

“We tested a variety of boarding processes, and our customers and employees let us know that this iteration makes their experience better,” said Bill Lentsch, Delta’s senior vice president of airport customer service.
