Alaska to Launch 8 New Flights from California

DSC_0333Alaska Airlines announced eight new routes from California, namely from San Jose and San Diego. The carrier also plans to inaugurate Portland-Orlando service.

Earlier this week on March 12, the airline began new daily San Jose-Newark service. Beginning March 16, Alaska will also launch thrice-daily flights between San Jose and Burbank.

The carrier will also launch six new routes from San Diego this year, beginning with daily flights to Omaha, Nebraska and Austin, Texas on August 27. These will be followed daily San Diego-Albuquerque flights on October 18.

On November 18, the carrier will initiate flights to Minneapolis, followed by service between San Diego and both Kansas City and St. Louis on December 15.

In addition to the new California routes, Alaska will begin flights between Portland, Oregon and Orlando, Florida on March 16.
