Hyatt Regency Xiamen Wuyuanwan Opens In China

Hyatt Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of a new property in Xiamen, China. The Hyatt Regency Xiamen Wuyuanwan is the first Hyatt Regency branded hotel in the city.

The property has 301 guestrooms and suites, each with a 48” LCD TV and a rainhead shower. Rooms range in size from 484 to 2,238 square feet (45 to 208 square meters).

Guests can dine at the hotel’s Market Café, which serves Asian, European, Chinese, and American cuisine, as well as Xiang Chinese Restaurant, which offers Cantonese, Min, and Teochew dishes. In addition, a new restaurant, Noodles, is slated to open next month, and will serve western comfort food and various Chinese items.

The hotel has over 26,909 square feet (2,500 square meter) of meeting and event space, including a 9,956-square-foot (925-square-meter) ballroom. The property also has an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and a jogging route from the hotel along the Wuyan Bay Wetland Park.

The hotel is located in close proximity to the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center as well as Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport.

Xiamen is located in southern China, in the country’s Fujian province. It has a population of approximately 3.5 million.
