American to Launch Flights Between Charlotte and the Bahamas

DSC_0629American Airlines announced that it plans to begin new service to the Bahamas this summer.

The carrier will launch flights between Charlotte, North Carolina and George Town, located on the island of Great Exuma, on June 3.

The carrier will offer the service once a week.

Exuma is a district of the Bahamas, and consists of over 365 islands. George Town is the capital and largest city of the district, with a population of approximately 1,400.
