Southwest Adds Cincinnati, Grand Cayman to List of Cities Served, Increases International Destinations from Fort Lauderdale
Southwest Airlines announced that it plans begin service from two new destinations, namely Grand Cayman and Cincinnati.
The carrier filed an application with the Department of Transportation to begin serving Owen Roberts International Airport on Grand Cayman from Fort Lauderdale on June 4 and is currently awaiting approval.
On that same date, Southwest will begin flights between Cincinnati and both Chicago Midway and Baltimore/Washington International Airport.
Also on June 4, the airline will launch new international flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Montego Bay, Belize, and Cancun. In addition, Southwest plans to begin new daily service between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Washington Dulles, and Philadelphia.
