IMGP5613 (1)JetBlue Airways announced that it is now able to offer complimentary gate-to-gate Wi-Fi on its entire fleet of 227 Airbus A320s, A321s and Embraer 190s, following the installation of its Fly-Fi system on all remaining aircraft not so equipped.

The airline said this makes it the only airline with free, high-speed Wi-Fi at every seat on every plane as well as the first airline to offer gate-to-gate access on every plane.

All passengers now have gate-to-gate access to Fly-Fi, JetBlue’s wireless high-speed Internet service that is powered by Thales and ViaSat. The service offers 12 to 20 Mbps to connected devices.

Gate-to-gate Wi-Fi allows passengers to access the Internet and remain connected from the time they board until the plane lands and pulls up to the gate.

In addition, JetBlue and Amazon have a partnership that lets passengers stream content from Amazon Video while onboard. The partnership also allows members of JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program to earn three TrueBlue points for every eligible dollar spent on Amazon.com, both in the air an on the ground.
