Delta to Launch Service to Seven New Cities including Milwaukee, Nashville, and Kaua’i from Seattle
Delta Air Lines announced that it will add service to seven new destinations from Seattle this year. In addition, the carrier said that it plans to expand existing service to some cities from the northwestern city.
Delta will begin new daily flights to Milwaukee on March 9, followed by three daily flights to Eugene, Oregon on April 1. These routes will be followed by daily service to Nashville and Raleigh on May 26 and June 8, respectively.
On June 12, the carrier will launch daily service to Austin, as well as twice daily service to Redmond, Oregon. Lastly, Delta will begin daily service to Lihue Airport in Kaua’i, Hawaii.
The airline will operate its Austin and Nashville routes using Airbus A319 aircraft, while it will use a Boeing 757 and a Boeing 737 on its Raleigh and Lihue routes, respectively. Delta Connection carrier SkyWest will operate the flights to Redmond, Eugene, and Milwaukee, using Bombardier CRJ-700 jets on the Oregon routes and Embraer E175 aircraft on the Wisconsin route.
The carrier also plans to add a second daily flight from Seattle to both Boston and Orlando, as well as an eighth daily flight to Portland, Oregon.
