DSC_0505GE Capital Aviation Services announced that it placed an order for 75 Boeing 737 Max 8 planes. The order is valued at approximately $8.25 billion.

The deal increases the aircraft leasing company’s firm order for 737 Max planes to 170 of the aircraft.

The Boeing 737 Max uses CFM International Leap-1B engines and has new winglets, which provide a 14% improvement in fuel use over other single-aisle aircraft. The planes also feature the new Boeing Sky Interior, with modern-sculpted sidewalls, new windows, LED lighting, and larger overhead bins.

To date, Boeing has received over 3,410 orders for the 737 Max.
