T-Mobile USA announced changes and additions to its T-Mobile One plan that should be of interest to travelers.

The self-proclaimed “Uncarrier” is paring down the original plan and lowering the price to $15 per month in addition to the basic line charge while adding a second option, T-Mobile One Plus International which, as its name implies, includes international calling features.

T-Mobile One Plus will continue to include unlimited high-definition video streaming, unlimited international data roaming at 3G speeds, unlimited monthly Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi, and voicemail transcription.

The new T-Mobile One Plus International plan adds tethering and the carrier’s Stateside International Talk plan, normally $15 per month, which provides unlimited calling from the United States to landlines in over 70 countries and mobile numbers in over 30 countries.

The original T-Mobile One Plus plan was first introduced in August of this year.
