Marriott International said it will open a JW Marriot in Savannah, Georgia in a hundred-year-old power plant that is being converted into a mixed-use facility.

The 670,000-square-foot (62,245-square-meter) Plant Riverside District, located at the west end of River Street in the city’s National Historic Landmark District, will span multiple buildings, each with a different theme and will host a concert venue with a pipe organ, meeting rooms, several ballrooms, retail stores, and a Leopold’s ice cream shop.

The JW Marriott will offer 422 rooms, many with views of the Savannah River.

A groundbreaking ceremony is slated to take place Friday and the project is expected to be completed by late 2017, according to the developer’s website.
