Tianjin Airlines to Launch Chongqing-Auckland Service

DSC_4666Tianjin Airlines announced that it will begin new non-stop flights between Chongqing, China, and Auckland, New Zealand, on December 21. The carrier will operate the service three times a week using Airbus A330 aircraft.

Flights will depart Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and will arrive at Auckland Airport at 6 p.m. From Auckland, flights are scheduled to depart at 8 p.m. and arrive in Chongqing at 5:30 a.m. the next morning.

The route will be the first non-stop service between Chongqing and New Zealand. It will also be the airline’s first to the Oceania region.

Tianjin Airlines began operations in 2004. The carrier currently has a fleet of 89 aircraft consisting of Airbus and Embraer planes.
