If you’re hoping to catch a Broadway show to take your mind off the election results, your options will be rather limited.

Many Broadway shows are going to be closed Tuesday in observance of Election Day.

Don’t plan on seeing “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical,” “Cats,” “Chicago,” “Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour,” “The Color Purple,” “The Encounter,” “The Front Page,” “Kinky Boots,” “Les Liaisons Dangereuses,” “Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Oh, Hello on Broadway,” “School of Rock,” and “Waitress.”

The show will go on, however, at “Hamilton,” which in part celebrates an earlier election, but tickets for the Tony-award winning show are, as always, hard to find.

In addition, the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall will also remain dark.
