Alaska to Begin Bellingham-Kona Flights

DSC_0684-EDAlaska Airlines announced that it will begin new seasonal service between Bellingham, Washington, and Kona, Hawaii, on November 11. The carrier will operate the route once a week through April 1 of next year.

Flights are scheduled to depart Bellingham at 8:20 a.m. on Saturdays and arrive in Kona at 12:55 p.m. Return flights from Kona to Bellingham will depart at 12:55 p.m., also on Saturdays, and arrive at 8:57 p.m.

Alaska will use Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route, equipped with 12 seats in first class, and 147 seats in economy.

Once the flights begin, Alaska Airlines will provide service to four of the Hawaiian islands.

Earlier this month, the carrier began seasonal service from Bellingham to Maui.
