Alaska Launches Flights Between Portland, Oregon and Newark

DSC_0305 2Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new non-stop service between Portland, Oregon and Newark, New Jersey. The carrier will operate the route daily using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Flights will depart Portland International Airport at 6:55 a.m. and arrive at Newark Liberty International Airport at 2:55 p.m. Flights from Newark to Portland are scheduled to depart at 3:55 p.m. and arrive at 7:05 p.m.

Alaska’s Boeing 737-800s that will be used on the route are equipped with 12 seats in first class, and 147 seats in economy.

The route will be the airline’s first non-stop between Portland and the New York City area.
