Southwest to Link Salt Lake City to Burbank and Sacramento

DSC_0016Southwest Airlines announced two new routes connecting Salt Lake City with cities in California

The Dallas-based carrier will offer non-stop service linking Utah’s high-elevation capital with both Burbank and Sacramento starting March 9, 2017.

The non-stop to Bob Hope Airport in Burbank will depart Salt Lake City International Airport at 8:15 a.m. local time and arrive at 9:15 a.m. The return flight departs at 9:35 a.m. and arrives at 12:30 p.m.

The service to Sacramento International Airport departs at 1:10 p.m. local time, arriving at 1:55 p.m. The return flight leaves Salt Lake at 2:25 p.m. and arrives at 5:10 p.m.

The airline will operate both routes using Boeing 737 aircraft with all-coach cabins.
