JetBlue Airways announced that it will offer new amenity kits on Mint flights starting in December. The new kits are being produced by New York-based Hayward Luxury, a fashion accessories company.

JetBlue said that, with the kits, it plans on “returning classic Hollywood sophistication to air travel,” as Marin Hopper, the founder of Hayward and Hopper, is the daughter of Hollywood icons Dennis Hopper and Brooke Hayward.

The airline will offer two versions of the kits, one for men and one for women. The Hayward kits are designed for female passengers, and will be made using signature Hayward denim. They also feature a brass zipper designed by Leland Hayward, Marin Hopper’s grandfather.

The Hopper kits were created for male travelers, and will be made using a natural cotton canvas.

Both kits contain the same items, including towelettes and natural lip balms as well as an eye shade. In addition, each kit will include screen cloths with photographs taken by Dennis Hopper.

JetBlue’s Mint service offers passengers a premium cabin with fully lie-flat seats.  Four seats in the cabin are private suites with doors.  The seats in the private suites are 22” wide and extend into an 80”-long bed.  The remaining 12 seats in the cabin are 20.5” wide.

Seat features include air cushions with adjustable firmness, massage, an area for shoe storage, two 110-volt electrical outlets, and two USB ports.  Each seat has a 15” flat screen with 100 DirectTV channels as well as 100 stations from SiriusXM satellite radio.
