Icelandair to Link Philadelphia, Tampa with Reykjavik

DSC_0292Icelandair announced that it plans to launch new service between Reykjavik and both Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Tampa, Florida, next year. The carrier will begin four weekly flights to Philadelphia on May 30, and two weekly flights to Tampa on September 7.

Flights will depart from Philadelphia International Airport at 8:35 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and arrive at Keflavik International Airport at 6:10 a.m. the next morning. From Reykjavik, flights are scheduled to depart at 5 p.m. and arrive in Philadelphia at 7:15 p.m.

Service between Reykjavik and Tampa will see flights departing Tampa International Airport at 6:55 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, arriving at 6:10 a.m. the following morning. Return flights will depart Reykjavik at 5 p.m. and arrive at 7:15 p.m.

Earlier this year, Icelandair commenced service between Reykjavik and Montreal, Canada.
