Delta, Virgin Atlantic to Partner with Jet Airways on London Heathrow Flights

DSC_0125 (1)Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic Airways announced that they will soon offer new codeshare flights with Indian carrier Jet Airways.

Beginning November 2, Jet Airways will be able to place its code on Delta-operated flights from London Heathrow to nine U.S. cities, Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, Salt Lake City, and Seattle,

Also on that date, Delta will be allowed to place its code on Jet Airways flights to both Mumbai and Delhi from London Heathrow, as well as 20 destinations in India from Mumbai and Delhi.

Members of Delta’s SkyMiles and Jet Airways’ Jet Privilege loyalty programs will be able to earn and redeem miles on flights operated by the other carrier.

Beginning next year, Jet Airways will be allowed to place its code on Virgin Atlantic flights from London Heathrow to ten cities throughout the United States, including Miami, Newark, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
