Delta Employees to Receive Lands’ End Uniforms
Delta Air Lines announced Friday that it will unveil new employee uniforms for some 60,000 workers later this month. The new garments will be manufactured by Lands’ End, an American clothing retailer based in Dodgeville, Wisconsin.
The uniforms were for customer service, ticketing, Delta Sky Club, gate agents, cabin crew and cockpits members, and were designed by Zac Posen, an American fashion designer based in New York City. In addition, the clothier will design and manufacturer uniforms for employees not in direct contact with customers including ground services, technical operations, and cargo.
All told, some 60,000 employees worldwide will get the new outfits.
“The new uniform collection will be a strong brand statement and builds on our team members’ sense of pride as they serve our customers around the world,“ said Gil West, the airline’s chief operating officer.
