Air Canada Launches Vancouver-Delhi Route

DSC_4872Air Canada announced the launch of new flights between Vancouver and Delhi. The carrier will operate the route three days a week, using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flights will depart Vancouver International Airport at 9:40 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi at 1:20 p.m. two days later. Flights from Delhi to Vancouver are scheduled to depart at 6:30 a.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and arrive at 6:55 a.m. the same day.

Air Canada’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft are equipped with 30 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 247 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 80”.

The route is the first non-stop between Vancouver and India.
