MUNICH—Lufthansa introduced a shuttle-style service for flights from Munich to Berlin and Düsseldorf.

Available at Munich Airport, the new City Sprinter service includes dedicated a City Sprinter Fast Lane through the security checkpoint, a dedicated gate area, and late boarding, which means that passengers can arrive at the gate approximately 20 minutes before departure.

The City Sprinter Fast Lane is available exclusively to City Sprinter passengers from 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The gate area is next to the security checkpoint in Terminal 2 and flights will arrive at gates close to the airport exit in Berlin and Düsseldorf

The airline is also offering three extra-cost options, namely express bus service to and from Munich Airport and a passenger’s home or office, rental car drop-off in front of the terminal, and baggage home delivery.
