Hainan to Begin Changsha-Sydney Route

IMGP4629Hainan Airlines announced the launch of new service between Changsha, China and Sydney, Australia this week. The carrier will operate the route twice a week, using Airbus A330 aircraft.

Flights will depart Changsha at 6:15 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, and arrive in Sydney at 6:35 a.m. the next day. Flights from Sydney to Changsha are scheduled to depart at 8:20 a.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays and arrive at 4:35 p.m.

The route is the airline’s fifth international service to begin this year, after Changsha-Los Angeles, Beijing-Tel Aviv, Beijing Manchester, and Beijing-Calgary. The carrier plans to launch service between Xi’an and both Sydney and Changsha in the near future.

Hainan Airlines was founded in 1993. It is headquartered in Hainan, and currently has 163 aircraft in its fleet.
