BMW to Offer 2 New ChargeNow Electric Vehicle Charging Options in 25 Cities

DSC_0223 (1)BMW introduced two new public charging programs for drivers of its electric vehicles. The ChargeNow by EVgo Annual Pass and ChargeNow by EVgo Pay as you Go plans offer various benefits to BMW EV owners.

The ChargeNow by EVgo Annual Pass offers BMW i3 drivers unlimited access to 30-minute DC Fast and one-hour Level 2 charging sessions for a year for $99. Additionally, owners of BMW i3 vehicles without DC Fast charging capability can enroll for unlimited access to two-hour Level 2 charging sessions for a year for $39. This offer is available to BMW i8 and iPerformance vehicle owners as well.

The ChargeNow by EVgo Pay as you Go plan allows BMW i and iPerformance drivers to pay per use at charging stations. A DC Fast charging session costs $2.95 plus 15¢ per minute for members of the plan, while Level 2 charging is $1.20 per hour.

Additionally, owners of BMW i3s that were purchased after November 1, 2015 can enroll in the current ChargeNow DC Fast program, and receive a 24-month membership at no cost, with unlimited 20-minute DC and one-hour Level 2 charging sessions.
