American to Link Dallas with Rome and Amsterdam

American Airlines announced that it plans to launch new daily, seasonal service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to both Rome, Italy and Amsterdam, the Netherlands next May.

The carrier will operate both routes through September.

American will use Boeing 777-200 aircraft on its service to Rome, and Boeing 767-300 aircraft on flights to Amsterdam.

The service to Rome will be the first ever non-stop route offered by an airline from the Dallas airport.
