Air Canada to Link Toronto with Mumbai

DSC_0990Air Canada announced that it plans to launch new service between Toronto and Mumbai, India on July 1 next year. The carrier will operate the service three times a week, using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flights will depart Toronto at 9:35 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Mumbai at 9:30 p.m. the following evening. From Mumbai, flights are scheduled to depart at 11:55 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive in Toronto at 5:35 a.m. the next morning.

Air Canada’s 787-9 Dreamliners are configured with 30 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 247 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 80”.

Air Canada plans to begin new Vancouver-Delhi service on October 20. The carrier also currently offers flights between Toronto and Delhi.
