Air Canada to Link Montreal with Shanghai

DSC_0277 (1)Air Canada announced that it will launch new daily service between Montreal and Shanghai on February 16 of next year. The carrier will operate the service using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flights are scheduled to depart Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in the early afternoon and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport in the late afternoon the next day. Flights from Shanghai to Montreal will depart in the early evening and arrive in the evening on the same day.

Air Canada’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner cabins are configured with 20 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 210 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 80”.

The new route will be the carrier’s first to China from Montreal, as well as the airline’s first flights from Montreal to be operated with the 787-8 Dreamliner.
