Too Good to Go, which was started by entrepreneurs to cut down on waste by giving restaurants a way of selling food that would otherwise have been thrown away, is already available in several cities in the United Kingdom including Brighton, Leeds, and Manchester.

A meal costs between £2 to £3.80 using the app. Diners pay using a credit card and receive a time slot during which they can collect the order, typically around closing time or after the lunch or dinner service. The company behind the app provides the restaurants that are enrolled in the program with eco-friendly containers.

The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
