Starwood Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of the Westin Jakarta in Indonesia. The property is the first of the brand’s hotels in the country’s capital city.

The hotel is located in the 50th to 69th floors of the mixed-use Gama Tower and offers 272 guestrooms and suites.

Dining establishments include four restaurants: Henshin, which features Japanese-Peruvian dishes; Daily Treats, which offers wraps, salads, pastries, ice cream and coffee; Seasonal Taste, which has buffet and a la carte options; and the property’s lobby lounge, which features cocktails and small dishes.

The hotel hosts a fitness center, and offers the Westin gear lending program in partnership with New Balance, which lets guests check out New Balance shoes and clothing for exercising during their stay.

The property provides 32,291 square feet (3,000 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,500 guests.
