JetBlue Sees July Traffic, Capacity Increase

DSC_0670JetBlue Airways announced operational results for the month of July 2016.

The New York-based airline reported that its July traffic rose by 6.6% to 4.26% billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, from 4 billion in July 2015

JetBlue’s capacity increased 5.5% to 4.8 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 4.6 billion in July of last year.

The carrier said that its load factor for July was up 0.8 percentage points to 87.8% compared to the same period in 2015. The airline’s preliminary completion factor was 98% and its on-time performance was 67.8%.
