Icelandair to Offer Ticket Sales via Facebook Messenger Bot
The carrier’s new Facebook Messenger Stopover Bot is available 24 hours a day, and can answer commonly asked questions with text, photos, and video.
“We want to constantly improve the travel eco system for consumers, starting
from the very beginning of their booking experience,” said Guðmundur Óskarsson,, Icelandair’s director of marketing and business development.
The project’s second phase is currently in development. Icelandair says it will offer additional functionality.
