Delta Air Lines announced it was moving those flights currently operating from Terminal 4 at London Heathrow to Terminal 3, the home of its joint venture partner, Virgin Atlantic.

The move is effective September 14, 2016.

The Atlanta-based airline currently operates its flights from Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, and Philadelphia to London out of Terminal 4, where most SkyTeam-member airlines are located.

Flights to and from New York, Boston, and Seattle already operate from Terminal 3
