Southwest Airlines said Wednesday it plans to offer non-stop service linking Oakland, California to both San Jose del Cabo/Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The flights are scheduled to start February 12, 2017 subject to government approval. The Dallas-based carrier would be the first to offer non-stop service to the two destinations from Oakland International Airport.

San José del Cabo is a city and resort area located in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Puerto Vallarta is an historic resort town on the Pacific coast. It is well known for its beaches, nightlife, and tourism.

The airline did not release details about the flights beyond the expected start date.
