IMGP4722Ride-hailing service Lyft announced a new premium service, Lyft Premier, in three key markets.

The new offering summons drivers of more luxurious vehicles such as a BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, or Cadillac Escalade as opposed to more pedestrian vehicles.

“If you’re one of the many Lyft passengers who has told us you want a more stylish arrival for business trips and special nights out, we have a new ride option you’re going to love,” the company said on its blog.

Lyft Premier will be available in Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco. The cost per mile will be $2.66, compared with the current $1.16-per-mile rate for the company’s standard service.

Customers new to Lyft can save 20% using the code “LYFTPREMIER20,” the company said.
