Lufthansa Begins Non-Stop Frankfurt-San Jose Flights

DSC_0290 (1)Lufthansa announced the launch of new non-stop service between Frankfurt, Germany, and San Jose, California. The carrier will operate the service five times a week, using Airbus A340-300 aircraft.

Flights will depart Frankfurt Airport at 10:40 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and arrive at Mineta San Jose International Airport at 1:40 p.m. From San Jose, flights are scheduled to depart at 3:20 p.m., also on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and arrive in Frankfurt at 11:15 a.m. the next morning.

Lufthansa’s A340-300s that will be used on the route are configured with 18 lie-flat seats in business class, 19 premium economy-class seats, and 261 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 20.5” wide and have a bed length of 78”.

Las month, Lufthansa resumed its route between Munich and Denver, Colorado.
