Alaska to Launch Portland-Sun Valley, Idaho Flights

DSC_0684-EDAlaska Airlines announced that it plans to launch new seasonal service to Sun Valley, Idaho from Portland, Oregon on December 17. Flights will be operated twice weekly through April 1, 2017, as well as between June 14 and September 16, 2017.

Flights are scheduled to depart Portland at 9:40 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays and arrive in Sun Valley at 12:12 p.m. From Sun Valley, flights will depart at 12:47 p.m., also on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and arrive back in Portland at 1:41 p.m.

Alaska Airlines also announced that it will increase its frequency between Seattle and Sun Valley to twice daily flights from December 16 through January 2, 2017, and with two flights on Saturdays and Sundays between February 18 and March 26, 2017.

All flights will be operated by Horizon Air, using Bombardier Q400 aircraft, equipped with 76 coach seats, each with a pitch of 31” and a width of 17”.
