Alaska Reports Traffic Increase for June

DSC_0278 (1)Alaska Air Group announced operational results for month of June 2016.

On a combined basis, the airline reported a 10.9% increase in traffic on an 11.7% increase in capacity compared to June 2015.

System-wide traffic rose to 3.24 billion revenue passenger miles or RPMs from 2.92 billion RPMs in the same period last year.

The airline said it flew 3.77 billion available seat miles or ASMs in June, an increase of 11.7% compared to June 2015, when the figure was 3.37 billion ASMs.

Meanwhile, the airline’s load factor fell 0.7 percentage points to 86%.
