Mercedes-Benz Introduces Integrated Off-Street Parking Information

Mercedes-Benz said it is adding information on off-street parking to its E-Class models both in the United States and Europe.

The system, powered by Inrix Off-Street Parking, provides real-time parking information for garage locations, the number of open spots, and rates. It also includes any limitations and restrictions at the garage. Information on free garages is also included and the system covers all publicly accessible, non-restricted parking spots.

Once a garage is selected, the navigation system provides the fastest route to the garage. It is accessible via the Comand infotainment system that is built into the car.

The feature is now available in Europe and will be introduced in the United States this summer.
