Hertz announced on Thursday it will offer special rental rates to drivers at ride-hailing services Uber Technologies and Lyft.

The Uber program will give drivers in Los Angeles set rates when they rent from specific off-airport locations and applies mainly to “well-maintained, good condition cars” that are no longer part of the company’s daily rental fleet.

Hertz first began a pilot program with Lyft late last year in Las Vegas and Denver, offering rates as low as $25 a day for an SUV, with discounts for longer periods of time. Drivers can use the vehicles for both business and personal driving.

The Lyft program is being expanded to Los Angeles and San Francisco

Hertz said that Lyft and Uber drivers will be able to use the cars for personal driving, as well as business.
