Hawaiian Airlines announced the introduction of an auction system for purchasing first-class upgrades.

The Bid Up system, powered by Plusgrade, allows ticketed passengers traveling on Hawaiian from North America to Hawaii to bid against other passengers for first-class seat upgrades.

Each passenger will receive an invitation to bid approximately ten days prior to departure and auction winners will be notified 48 hours before to departure.

Winners will enjoy all of the amenities and benefits of the airline’s first-class service, including two complementary checked bags, expedited check-in lines, access to Hawaiian’s Premier Clubs, free access to in-flight entertainment, priority pre-boarding, and unlimited in-flight beverages.
