Alaska to Launch Portland-Orlando Flights

DSC_0684-EDAlaska Airlines announced that it plans to begin new daily, non-stop flights between Portland, Oregon and Orlando, Florida on March 16, 2017. The new route will be the first non-stop service between the two cities.

Flights are scheduled to depart Portland at 6:40 a.m. and arrive in Orlando at 3:15 p.m. From Orlando, flights will depart at 4:15 p.m. and arrive back in Portland at 7:35 p.m.

Alaska will operate the service using Boeing 737-900 aircraft, equipped with 16 seats in first class and 165 seats in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 36”.

Earlier this month, Alaska Airlines launched new service between San Jose and both Orange County/Santa Ana and San Diego, California.
