Air Canada Launches Service Between Montreal and Casablanca

DSC_0553 (1)Air Canada announced the launch of a new route between Montreal and Casablanca, Morocco. The service, which will run through October 29, will be operated by Air Canada rouge, using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

The airline will operate the route three times a week initially, with Monday flights from Montreal and Sunday flights from Casablanca being added on June 26.

Flights will depart Montreal at 6:55 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive in Casablanca at 7:10 a.m. the following day. From Casablanca, flights are scheduled to depart at 9:10 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Montreal at 12 noon.

The service is the carrier’s first service to Africa, as well as the first scheduled non-stop route to North Africa by a North American airline.
