Qantas Airways and WestJet announced a reciprocal frequent flyer agreement Tuesday.

Members of the two airlines’ loyalty programs may choose to earn either Qantas Points or WestJet dollars when flying either airline. The two airlines have had a code-share agreement in place since 2014.

Members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program will also be able to redeem Qantas Points on Qantas code-share flights operated by WestJet starting May 24. The two airlines also plan to offer the ability for both WestJet Rewards and Qantas Frequent Flyer members to be able to redeem flights on either airline using their points.

“We are thrilled to team up with Qantas,” said Bob Cummings, executive vice president at WestJet. “This will be a significant improvement to our reward program value proposition.”
